Soft = Soggy Mess
Have tried these a few times when Velo unavailable and/or these were on sale locally, and have concluded they are not great or quite possibly just bad. Flavor is there only at start, and the strength is so so, especially compared to Velo of same potency. The real drawback is that their especially soft pouches seem to fall apart or dissolve in a weird way. Maybe a lot of it is because I’ll keep them in for longer than the standard hour usually universally recommended (just throw in a fresh pouch next to the previous), but the weird dissolving thing only happens with On’s super soft pouches. It’s not like the whole thing falls apart, it’s more that I end up with a film of stuff in my mouth and bits of white residue in chunks of various sizes. The description written out is maybe grosser than the actual experience, or maybe I’ve just not put it into words before—because that’s what happens with these guys. Plus, I only now realized that they’re only providing 14 pouches per can; hence, the lower prices. Unless they perfect the soft pouch, up the pouch count, and start delivering nicotine in the same feel, will stick with Velo. Also, dunno if it’s the dissolving thing or what, but I also end up with objectionable breath after use (or my wife only calls me out for bad breath after using these, like she used to do back when I was a Camel snus devotee).
