The FDA also said these authorizations were the first decisions issued under its nicotine pouch pilot program, which was designed to streamline efficiency while maintaining the agency’s scientific standards. As a result, the agency completed its reviews in record time. 

This puts on! PLUS™ among the first nicotine pouch brands to receive this type of marketing authorization (following the earlier authorization of ZYN in 2025).
